- Available to conduct independent neutral fact investigations for non-clients
- Prepare an oral or written Investigation Report, as requested, using an independently developed report template
- Ability to identify systemic issues, legal risks, and lessons learned, as requested
- Ability to recommend discipline, appropriate remedial measures, and policy changes, as requested
- Available to testify as a fact witness, if needed

- Able to relate to employees and understand their rights
- Respected by corporate representatives based on business experience gained while employed in the employment law department at The Home Depot
- Able to recognize strengths/weaknesses of each party’s case and the underlying motives driving each party
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge of the law and damages
- Experience successfully negotiating the settlement of hundreds of lawsuits and claims
